Project 365

Happy New Year!

I've just recently acquired my first DSLR, a Canon Rebel XTi.  I am loving it, but I know I will love it even more once I figure out exactly what I am doing, and how to use it to its' full potential.

So...I figured that taking a photo a day (Project 365) would be a great way to get to know my new camera and a great way to learn a bit of photography skills.  I hope you'll join me!  And please let me know what you think.  I would really appreciate your thoughts and/or constructive criticism.

I have long been a lover of beauty. For as long as I can remember, I have loved art. Growing up I had the opportunity to explore art in many forms. I am having a lot of fun with photography now...so far it is my favorite.  There is something that thrills me about capturing beautiful moments in everyday life and saving them to be remembered forever.

This blog is a sort of photo journal to document my journey as I learn about photography and get to know my new camera.  I have so much to learn!
